About the Experience
Overview
Intersecting Outdoors is a reoccuring partnership program between Multicultural Student Services (MSS) and Outdoor Education and Leadership (OEL). These programs provide intentional spaces for students to think and learn about how our identities impact how we show up outdoors. This spring we are excited to offer two skiing based programs!
This first program is an evening trip to Tussey Mountain, located about an hour from campus. We'll meet on campus for dinner before heading to the mountain. This will be an introductory program that will provide a solid introduction to skiing! Participants will learn about basic equipment handling, stance, balance, introductory technique. We'll stick to the bunny hill! If you've never skiied before but want to learn, this program is for you!
All materials are provided, free of charge (including lift ticket and gear rentals).
Location
We'll first meet at our Basecamp on Bucknell's campus. From there we'll commute…
