The Outdoor Education & Leadership (OEL) Rental Center is Bucknell University's one stop shop to rent outdoor recreation equipment. Everything from tents, to boats, to cross-country skis and so much more can be found and rented here. The Rental Center is located in the Tustin Gym near the Gateway Apartments on the east side of campus and is a resource available to students, faculty, and staff members of Bucknell, as well as the general public. We are looking for enthusiastic and talented new applicants to join our Rental Center team!

Duties
​
As a Rental Center Technician, you may be the first person someone may meet from the Bucknell OEL Program! As such, it is expected that our technicians promote and present OEL in a positive way through excellent customer service and enthusiasm for outdoor adventure. Though no prior experience is necessary, technicians are expected to have a willingness to learn about and work with the variety of gear that the Rental Center offers, as well as exemplify excellent organizational skills, work ethic, and customer service. Technicians are responsible for following procedures for gear rentals and returns, creating and reviewing rental contracts, money handling, gear inventory and repair, and educating renters on proper gear use.

Minimum Qualifications
​
No prior experience is necessary to be successful in this position. Rental Center Technicians must be a current student at Bucknell University. In addition, all Rental Center Technicians must be available to work a minimum of one weekend shift per month.
