About the Experience
Overview
Intersecting Outdoors, a collaboration between the offices of Multicultural Student Services (MSS) and Outdoor Education & Leadership (OEL), is an opportunity for participants (students, faculty and staff) to learn about how our identites inform how we show up outdoors. Through physical activity and intentional dialogue, participants will have the chance to build community, communicate across differences, and be intellectually engaged outside of the classroom.
At the crossroads of identity and environment, we invite participants to reflect on their personal and collective relationships with outdoor spaces.
We look forward to learning and growing with you!
Location
We'll first meet at our Basecamp on Bucknell's campus. From there we'll commute over to R.B. Winter State Park for a hike, followed by campfire and dinner.
