About the Experience
Overview
Intersecting Outdoors is a reoccuring partnership program between Multicultural Student Services (MSS) and Outdoor Education and Leadership (OEL). These programs provide intentional spaces for students to think and learn about how our identities impact how we show up outdoors. This spring we are excited to offer two skiing based programs!
This program is "part two" of our introduction to skiing. Our first program was an evening at Tussey Mountain - this program will be a day at Montage Mountain. Participants will learn take a lesson from the Montage Mountain Ski School, and then have time to practice their skills! If you've never skied before but want to learn, this program is for you!
All materials are provided, free of charge (including lift ticket and gear rentals).
Location
We'll first meet at our Basecamp on Bucknell's campus. From there we'll commute over to Tussey Mountain in State College, PA.
