Description
Overview
We invite you to come climbing with us on the beautiful quartzite boulders of Mocanaqua, PA which is located about 50 miles east of Bucknell University. This particular trip will either take place at Squirrel Rock or Mt. Gretna. All experience levels are welcomed!
Location
We'll first meet at our Basecamp on Bucknell's campus. From there we'll commute over to Mocanaqua to spend the day bouldering and enjoying the outdoors.

Schedule
-8:00 AM - Meet at our Basecamp on Bucknell's campus.
-8:30 AM - Depart for Mocanaqua. Enjoy day of climbing.
-5:00 PM - Arrive back to Basecamp.
What's Provided?
-Hiking gear (trekking poles, rain jacket/pants if needed, etc.)
-Climbing gear (climbing shoes, chalk and crash pads are all that is needed for bouldering)
-Sunscreen & bug spray
-Transportation to/from
What To Bring
-Clothing that's comfortable to hike and camp in (e.g. athletic type clothing and/or synthetic pieces, etc.)
-Rain jacket (just in case)
-Warm jacket and pants
-Hiking boots or a pair of sturdy sneakers (trail can get slippery)
-Small backpack
-1-2 water bottles
-A hat
-Sunglasses
-Personal lunch and snack food for the day
Cost
This trip is complimentary (FREE / NO COST) to Bucknell students.
Register
This trip is open enrollment to all current Bucknell students. A Bucknell ID number is required to register.
